The Pinzgauer is an all-terrain utility vehicle, designed to provide exceptional levels of versatility and mobility.
The Pinzgauer comes in both 4x4 and 6x6 wheel configurations and can perform a wide range of operations, such as command and control, liaison, replenishment, special forces, evacuation and administrative tasks.The vehicle can also be fitted with armour complying with NATO ballistic and blast protection standards.
In 2017, Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL), alongside team members Hobson Industries and Penman MW Engineering, won a significant contract to provide Post Design Services to the British Army’s Pinzgauer fleet.
The contact delivers support services to keep the vehicles ready for operational use at all times, as well as the delivery of a Roll-Over Protection System for Pinzgauer.
