Rheinmetall Polska Sp. z o.o.

Established in August 2016 Rheinmetall Polska Sp. z o.o. serves as the local “hub”, coordinating all Rheinmetall activities in Poland. Acts as the central point of contact for the Polish government and military as well as for Polish companies. In its role, Rheinmetall Polska supports all Rheinmetall Group companies in their efforts to promote the complete product spectrum as well as actively responds to the market needs endorsing bilateral cooperation projects in areas such as:

  • Next generation heavy fighting vehicles;
  • Modern heavy weapon systems;
  • Multispectral vehicle protection systems;
  • Fixed and mobile VSHORAD systems;
  • Advanced medium and large calibre ammunition solutions.
  • Electromobility and autonomous vehicles;
  • Energy transformation including hydrogen technologies.

Furthermore, Rheinmetall Polska with its qualified field service team serves as a partner to the local defence industry, providing the Polish Armed Forces with technical and logistical support with focus on the modernization programme for Poland's fleet of Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks.

Rheinmetall Polska holds all necessary national certificates and licences allowing it to operate as a local defence entity in Poland.

Locations

Rheinmetall Polska Sp. z o.o. is represented at two locations:

Warsaw
A liaison bureau has been set up in Warsaw in order to be close to government agencies and authorities.

Gliwice

A second location has been established at Gliwice in Upper Silesia, in order to provide Zaklady Mechaniczne Bumar-Labedy S.A. ("ZMBL") with optimum support in modernizing Poland's Leopard 2 MBTs as well as to offer other Leopard 2 family-related services.
